Big plates, no fuss

In the owners' words: large portions. One reviewer had never had so much shrimp on a po-boy.

A local favorite

This place is clearly a local favorite! What they serve is value for money -- I've never had so much shrimp on a poboy! Service was good and our soft drinks never went empty.

Our story

Teddy and Vanette's place

Theodore “Teddy” and Vanette Macke came from New Orleans and took over this spot on Highway 603 in early 2018.

Teddy is a retired firefighter with 33 years on the job. Back in the mid-1980s he ran a small seafood restaurant in Slidell, and he shucked oysters at Acme for a time.

He wanted a place like the lakefront restaurants his dad took him to as a kid. The seafood boats went on the menu at his dad's urging.

Come check out our seafood market or dine in! We're your best choice for local, fresh seafood with large portions and reasonable prices!!
